One of the many things that UCE does to minister to the people of West Nile, is to teach new farming methods to increase their productivity. This increase helps feed the family and gives them a little extra food that they can sell and produce income. Recently the Resident District Commissioner invited UCE to teach the UCE Basic Farming Course through out the Moyo District. This manual addresses topics like: the use of raised beds, irrigation, the need for water catchment, the advantage of hay making, the use of lattice, and other topics.
